NOTE IS RACE IS FOR A/B GRADES Western Australia – Ferguson Valley - South West Cycle Clubs favoured group ride locally known as a ‘Lap of the Valley’ has hosted regional and state events on a regular basis. We again will do the shorter but more interesting part of this course. You’ll be riding through history here with farmlands, vineyards, forestry, historical timber mills and past the world famous ‘Gnomesville’ ornament repository which started as a joke but has found a permanent home and steady patronage. The racing however is no joke. The climb out of Gnomesville can be the decider and with a long exciting descent to the finish this may be the case for CDE but for the AB Grades we have added a twist from the usual event with a sharp left turn into ironstone for a short hill top finish.
