THIS IS FOR A/B GRADE RIDERS. Northern Territory - Bachelor To understand this race you are best to not have air-conditioning in your pain cave as Bachelor is very humid. This is the arid tropics. The annual Bachelor Classic road race hosted by the Darwin Cycle Club departs from the start adjacent to the aerodrome foregoing the traditional neutral zone from the town. An out and back course through predominantly rural acreage with mainly uncleared natural bushland and undulations on the road over the whole course. With 6km from the Bachelor finish you will encounter the ‘Col du Solomon’ the main hill of the day. The real life event has spectators with cow bells here to urge you on. A flat race to finish the series and possibly shake up some of the standings.
