OTR's Tour du Monde - Stage 3
The Nazcar Lines are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, comprising 80 to 100 giant Geoglyphs dug into the floor of the Nazca Desert in southern Peru including the route for today on the famous Spider. This is probably one of the coolest Strava entries you will ever log and after the ups and downs of stage two, is mercifully flat. That does not mean an easy time however, as the powerful riders will be pushing on the front from the gun trying to drop the unwary and less punchy among the peloton. At 55km this is one the longer routes on the this year’s and will therefore take stamina, strength and super switched on attention to prevent being dropped and spending a painful time trying to limit your time losses!
